What are porcelain veneers?
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin porcelain covers, which are custom made to fit precisely over your existing teeth to improve their appearance. A single veneer can be placed to fix a single damaged or misaligned tooth or many veneers can be placed to create a full mouth restoration.
What are some benefits of porcelain veneers?

What are lumineers?
Lumineers are very thinly shaped porcelain that are bonded to your teeth. Due to lumineers being very thin, it allows us to minimize the preparation of the tooth to create a healthy smile.
What are some benefits of lumineers?
- Lumineers are extremely thin and translucent, allowing them to replicate the natural appearance of enamel.
- Lumineers require less preparation to adhere to natural teeth.
- Lumineers can be used to fix a variety of dental concerns, such as: chipped or cracked teeth, gapped teeth, and discoloured or stained teeth.
- The procedure often requires 1-2 visits.
How Will The Veneers Be Applied To My Teeth?
Before you receive your permanent veneer, you will first receive a temporary restoration. This is not as sturdy as the permanent version, so you should be careful when cleaning and eating. You should brush the area gently and should not pull up on the tooth when flossing because it could become dislodged. The same goes for eating.
You should avoid sticky or chewy foods while you have the temporary in. There may be some sensitivity and irritation after the temporary or permanent is placed. This is normal and will subside after the soft tissue heals. Rinsing your mouth with salt water and taking Advil or Tylenol will help with any pain.
